We recently put new content on the Family Tree page. Check it out! This should make it easier to navigate the Family Tree. Also, feel free to ask for information from us, Sign our GuestBook, or check out our Chat Room. The chat room is usually empty but maybe we can get more users on at the same time to chat.
The Family Tree
This site lists information that I have obtained over the years and is to the best of my knowlege. If you see any incurrect or missing information, please feel free to e-mail us at strouttree@yahoo.com Please note that we are in the process of registering for domain e-mail and will be able to change the address in the comming months. Sorry it's taking so long for design, still sifting through the details. Thank you for being patient with us.
I started gathering information about the Strout Family Tree on July 1, 1995. Then on June 12, 1997 I started researching information online. I started with my husbands mother and father first then both of our siblings and siblings children. By the year 200 I got as far back as 5 generations. I could have went further in the previouse years but could not find information on 1 person. I also found that family trees needed more time to research and if you don't put a little more time into it then you can't get anywhere.
To read more about us, please visit the About Us page. In the year 2000, I took a couple of years off due to illness then in 2002 I started researching once again and have been logging information into my files ever since. Adding new births and deaths, census records, etc.
We are trying to get both sites, The Strout Family Tree, and The Self Family Tree, up and running. This site is becoming our primary site as of January 1, 2005. Once this site is finished, then we will start once again on The Self Family Tree website. We've not set a "Live" (online up-and-running) date as of yet but maybe in the short future we'll have a more detailed description. Thank you for making The Strout Family Tree your choice for Strout information.
Try to catch a Strout Tree user online by checking out our Java Chat page. It'll be hard to catch someone at first but hopefully our regulars will start chatting. It's a "Free" chat service but it works for now, atleast until we finaly get to register. The Java Chat link is also top lef in the "Informational Pages" catagory.
